Vapes are manmade devices that can also face damages such as tank leaks. There can be many reasons why your vape can leak avoiding which you can easily enjoy the real pleasures of vaping. Leaking tanks are not very harmful or dangerous, but they can be frustrating enough to ruin the whole mood of vaping. By following just a few simple steps, you can fix the vape leaking issue so that you will not have to buy a new tank from vape shop online UK every time.

Fill Your Tank Properly

One of the main reasons behind a leaking vape is the filling of the liquid. Most of the new vapers are so excited to get the most from vaping that they do not fill the liquid tank properly. You need to be very careful while filling the tank that it isn’t overfilled. There must be a bubble of air tat the top of the tank that will help the vaping devices create a vacuum. However, the airflow holes will leak if you fill the tank to the top. If your tank fills from the top, unscrew it and make sure that the liquid runs down to the chimney through the hollow tube. Leave some air space once it is filled enough

Watch Out For Cross-Threading

Cross-threading can be another major cause of vape leaking. The gaps between the coil and the atomizer or where the coil base meets the tank can create leakages if everything is tightened up more than needed. To avoid this from happening, make sure that everything is fitter perfectly when you re-attach the base to the tank and the atomizer head to the base. Everything should be in a straight line when you are screwing these components together so that there will be no chances of cross-threading.

Check Your Coil

Higher resistance coils above 1.0ohm work similarly to cigarettes, which is why they have smaller liquid holes. So, if you have a higher resistance coil, a PG liquid will suit you best. However, coils of low resistance below 1.0ohm can create a flooding effect if you use PG (thinner) liquids with them. VG liquids are best suited for low resistance coils as the airflow wholes are generally bigger to allow the thick liquid to pass through without any clotting.

Check The O-Rings

O-rings cannot only be damaged due to over-tightening, but they can also get degraded, rusted, or broken. To see, if the leaks in your vape are due to a damaged O-ring, you have to unscrew all the parts if your vape tanks and look for the rubber rings on the coil head located at the base. Just by having a look at the O-ring, you will understand if it needs to be replaced. Remove them with the help of a toothpick or tweezers, and place a new O-ring in its place. Most vaping kits come with spare coils and O-rings, but you’ll have to buy new ones if you use a different device.
